Dollar General in Frederick, Maryland

Terrible experience dealing with the hiring process I have applied at three different Dollar Generals I've even had interviews for two different Dollar Generals in one day. The last one I applied at which was this one to manager told me that he was going to push my application through and that he really needed people I have proceeded to call almost every day to check on my background check in to see if it went through after calling and getting the same saying told to me week after week about my background check not being there I went into the store to see what was going on the manager then proceeded to tell me that my application was reset and that they decided to bring in people from as far as Brunswick. He proceeded to try tell me several different reasons why I didn't get the job. I feel like I have been blacklisted from getting a job for Dollar General ever since I stood up for myself when a female manager who had said that she was going to offer me a job was going around defaming my character talking about me when I would leave the store with my son I called corporate headquarters and talk to the general manager who assured me that action would be taken the but last person I talked to said that a statement was given but it was not picked up by the gm. The same GM who informed me that I should apply to the other Dollar Generals which I did to no avail. I've recently been another stores with people have got hired and we're working and about 3 two seven days with some starting in just 3 days that's some of the very stores that are posed to be too filled to hire people. Have a good morning and give people a chance sometimes instead of false hope.
